RMYF Parent Meeting
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 - 6:30PM


As the season approaches, please be prepared to attend the RMYF Parent Meeting for all 2009 football and cheer participants on Tuesday, July 14th at Rolling Meadows’ Community Center. If you are new to the RMYF Program, this an opportunity to learn about the upcoming season, hear from our Executive Board Members, learn how you can become involved in this volunteer organization, break into teams and squads to meet your Coaching Staff and teammates, ask questions, turn in registration forms, and of course, acquaint yourself with other parents whom you will see through November. This meeting is deemed “mandatory” and it is vital that new and returning families attend to familiarize themselves with important dates and information for the 2009 season. We look forward to seeing everyone there.


Cheer & Football Equipment Pick Up Day
Saturday, July 18th from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Equipment Shed, 3200 Central Road, Rolling Meadows


RMYF Equipment Pick-Up will be at the Equipment Shed on Central Road. Come prepared ... non-supplied cheer and football gear will be available as well. Also, the staff of Rogans Shoes will be present for on-the-spot fitting and discount pricing of football cleats and cheer shoes.

Equipment Pick-up Check List:


1.) Security Deposit Check for equipment made out to RMYF
$150.00 (Cheer) / $250.00 (Football)

2.) Check or Cash for Football/Cheer Gear
(Spirit Wear, Shoes/Cleats, FB Girdles, Mouth Guards, etc...)

Additional Football equipment pick up dates are as follows:

Wednesday July 22nd 6pm-8pm
Saturday July 25th 9am-Noon



Mandatory Forms
and Documents
First Day of Practice
Monday, July 27th

It’s an exciting time of year as RMYF takes to the practice field for the first time this season! However, for each football player and cheerleader to participate, every team member is required to have mandatory forms and documents submitted to RMYF by the first day of practice. To help organize, below is a Check List of all requirements:
1.) Completed Registration Form
2.) Copy of your child's Birth Certificate
3.) Completed and signed copy of the Zero Tolerance Policy
4.) Copy of your child's last Report Card
5.) Completed & signed Medical Clearance Form from a Doctor DATED AFTER 1/1/09

If you need a particular form, each can be found and downloaded here.
Forms that have not yet been submitted may be turned in at the Parent Meeting July 14th.



RMYF Mustangs Cheerleader Boot Camp

July 27-31 from 6 pm - 8 pm

Our cheer season begins on Monday, July 27th at 6 pm behind the RM Community Center by the gazebo. Don’t forget your water bottle, enthusiasm and energy.
Outdoors - weather permitting. Dress appropriately. Bring a water bottle!

Concessions is seeking Your Help

Volunteers are needed to run the Concessions Stand in the 2010 season. It would be beneficial to find volunteers to be trained this year so next year they can hit the ground running. The Concessions Stand is vital to the organization in keeping costs down and fund-raising to a  minimum. Without the Concessions Stand, the cost to play football or cheer lead would increase. Contact our Concessions Stand Committee with any questions and interest.
